This prestigious annual event is held in London and organised by the Energy Institute (EI). IP Week (16th-19th February) is a well established 4-day programme featuring high profile events including conferences, seminars, exhibition and social functions designed to stimulate debate and promote networking about energy industry professionals. The key theme for IP Week 2009 will be the continued need for sustainable fossil fuel supplies and the efficiency of industry operations. Other challenges to be discussed are exploration, refining and the cost of alternative fuels. The event will also discuss how demand affects the oil and gas industry and what the economics of security of supply are.
