Energy Institute (Hong Kong Branch) is organising the "International Conference on Carbon Reduction" with supports from local and overseas professional organisations and government funding from the Pofessional Services Development Assistance Scheme (PSDAS).

The objectives of organising this international conference are:

- to raise awareness on clean energy and carbon reduction for the Hong Kong industry as well as international partners;

- to facilitate exchange of knowledge and technical skills for achieving high energy efficiency and low carbon emission; specific areas include energy conservation, renewable energy, energy audit, carbon audit, low-carbon technologies, carbon emission trading etc.; and

- to facilitate effective policy and strategic plans to promote a clean-energy, low-carbon economy.

 

This international conference is intended for all stakeholders, including government officals, non-government organisations, industry and business sectors, academia and researchers.
